Food, Nutrition and Hygiene (According to NEP-2020)
The most important thing that COVID-19 pandemic has taught us is the importance of having good health. Thus making it essential to have the basic knowledge of food and nutrition in today’s world. To further enhance this knowledge, the book ‘Food, Nutrition and Hygiene is presented to all the students of the concerned subject. This book is prepared according to the revised syllabus under the National Education Policy-2020. For the help of the students, the subject matter of the book is simple, comprehensible and easily understandable. Moreover, wherever required, important facts, examples, etc. are used for enhancing the quality of the chapters. For a better understanding of various theories and principles in each lesson and self-assessment, at the end of each chapter Long Answer Type Questions, Short Answer Type Questions and Objective Type Questions are given that were asked in previous examinations of various universities.
